Small Streams, Rivers, and Local Lakes

Local drainages offer a great opportunity to catch native trout in some of the West's most beautiful settings. Typically, there is little or no pressure in these areas and opportunity for fish on the dry fly is likely. Brown trout, rainbow trout, brook trout, and Utah’s native cutthroat trout can be caught depending on the location. There are also a few streams that have been stocked with tiger trout. The average fish in these areas will be 8 to 12 inches, with the occasional chance at a 17+ incher. The wading difficulty is moderate and the scenery superb.

Private fly fishing waters which hold huge trout are also available. Rates vary depending on location  Being flexible on these trips will allow our fly fishing guides to put you on the best stretches of water.
